Founder | President
Erin DiCarlo founded Dovetail Companies in 2017 with a mission to help older adults make an overwhelming process, a more seamless one.
Some of her fondest childhood memories revolve around spending time with her grandparents, Nanny, and Da. It’s not that they were your stereotypical Hallmark grandparents, to the contrary. Da was a WWII veteran and he carried the scars physically and emotionally of veterans of that era. Nanny was kind, compassionate, and a dutiful wife and mother. What they did have and lived was a solid sense of family and the priority it takes over all else.
Together, they brought solace and peace. They helped to anchor and guide Erin, which would unwittingly launch her into her career.
Co-Owner | Vice President
Lauren Watts joined Erin as Co-Owner and Vice President in April 2018. Erin and Lauren share the same vision; to positively shift the way we view and support aging in America.
Together they are building a community of experts to support older adults, and their families, during the planning and execution phases of a major life transition. Their approach is simple, individualized, and incredibly unique.
Lauren started her career in senior living working for a large New England-based provider, where she worked closely with residents moving from their home to community. Having worked with hundreds of older adults and witnessing the oftentimes overwhelming process, Lauren is committed to ensuring our clients have a positive experience and seamless transition.

Juli is a lifelong resident of the South Shore of Massachusetts. She grew up in Quincy and spent her childhood summers at her family cottage in Plymouth. Growing up in the bungalow her great-grandparents built-in 1929 sparked her passion for houses and the richness of family stories told through our homes.
When Juli's Dad passed in 2011, she learned firsthand how challenging the monumental task of sorting through a lifetime of memories can be (yes, there were 45 years of tax returns in the attic!).
As a Certified Senior Advisor®, REALTOR®, Seniors Real Estate Specialist®, and Seller Representative Specialist, Juli is honored to work with our clients and their families to support them through both the practical and emotional aspects of selling the long-time home.
Before joining Dovetail, Juli worked in the nonprofit housing field for more than 20 years where she worked with organizations specializing in homebuyer and homeowner education, and residential real estate development.
Today, she lives with her husband, Rod, their two college students, their whippet, Louie, and Juli’s mom, Jane, in their multi-generational home in Pembroke, MA.

I have always loved working with people and helping others, especially seniors. They are our mentors who we can learn so much from and deserve respect and dignity, but they may need assistance to thrive in their golden years. I was privileged to help care for my 100-year-old mom in her home with my sister, so I know how rewarding yet challenging it can be. It takes a village! I am a firm believer that everyone is unique and should be treated as such.
My work background is very diverse including public relations, marketing, retail, grant writing education, youth ministry, caregiving and volunteering, so I have experience dealing with all types of people. I meet them where they are, listen to their needs and try to offer the best solutions.
I am grateful to be a part of such a compassionate company that works with its heart and soul. We care about our clients and want to enrich and empower their lives as best as we can. We are honored to guide them and support them through their aging journey.

When not planning a move, Lisa enjoys biking, tennis, golf and spending time with her husband, three children, and chocolate lab down on Cape Cod.
After spending 30-plus years as a Project Manager in the Financial Technology field, Erin decided a career change was due. She was spending time helping her mother upgrade her bathrooms to allow her to age in place. In addition, she took on the challenge of fixing up an elder family member's home to get it ready for selling.
These, and other projects, led her to work for Dovetail. It was a perfect fit for her current skills and allowed her to expand her interest in helping clients age in place, or, downsize and transition to a new home.

She says “The experience of moving my mom back to New England from Florida; choosing the best memory facility and care for her, trying to ensure I answered every question most effectively and advocating daily on her behalf made me truly appreciate the breadth of challenges so many families face.”

Through this experience, Anne Marie has earned certifications with the National Certification Board for Alzheimer’s and Aging. “I am thrilled to join Dovetail Companies to continue this journey. Laurie has more than 22 years of work experience at Fallon Health in Worcester, MA in a variety of financial roles: IT Finance Manager, Purchasing, Budgeting & Forecasting.
In January 2020, her parents moved to Assisted Living in Marlboro, MA. Having a “big” birthday during this time, Laurie reflected on her priorities: She retired early, sold her family home, and moved closer to her parents. A busy year followed with numerous doctor's appointments, visiting relatives, lunch dates, etc. Precious time!
Mid 2022 Laurie joined Dovetail Companies to help others transitioning into their senior years. Laurie will be a resource to assist Dovetail to expand into Central Massachusetts.
With experience and knowledge from moving both of her parents to assisted living/nursing homes, Rosanne saw firsthand the stress, angst and sadness exhibited by her parents leaving their home.
She had spent most of her career as a software developer creating solutions for Corporate Customer Service Organizations, facilitating their efforts to support their external customers. Working in this environment proved to be very rewarding by solving problems and helping others.
Since retiring, Rosanne had been searching for a job that offered her the same opportunities to help others, "I have found that at Dovetail Companies."
